Monument to Bonaventura Carles Aribau

The monument to Bonaventura Carles Aribau, inaugurated in 1884 in the Glorieta Aribau of the Parc de la Ciutadella, was designed by architect Josep Vilaseca and sculptor Manuel Fuxà. Originally made of stone, the statue quickly deteriorated and was replaced by a bronze version created by Enric Monjo based on Fuxà’s original model.
