Tribuna de la casa Sicart

The façade of the El Corte Inglés building on Fontanella Street preserves a reproduction of the modernist tribune from the house of Count Sicart, designed in 1906 by Antoni M. Gallissà Soqué for a music room. Made up of three arches resting on columns, with a carved balustrade and four statues of young women playing instruments, it blends refined neo-Gothic style with modernist aesthetics. The original, too deteriorated to be preserved, was replaced by this replica in artificial stone, created from restored molds.
