Inaugurated in 1998, the Michel Crépeau Media Library is one of La Rochelle’s main cultural facilities. Located by the harbour, it stands out for its contemporary architecture with large glass façades opening onto the outside. A true living space, it offers hundreds of thousands of documents including books, films, music and archives freely accessible to the public. It also hosts exhibitions, conferences and cultural events throughout the year. Recently renovated, it now provides modern, bright and accessible spaces for everyone.
