La Lluna Sculpture

La Lluna is a sculpture by Kiku Mistu, installed in 2003 in front of the Palau Robert on Passeig de Gràcia. The work is part of the project “El llenguatge de les flors” (The Language of Flowers), presented during the Primavera del Disseny festival in 2001, which aimed to promote reading through sculptures placed in public spaces. The piece was created with the participation of students from the Joan Amades School for the Blind. It features a poem by J. V. Foix, “És quan dormo que hi veig clar”, engraved on a book hanging from a red lectern — also written in braille — and reflected on a stainless-steel moon in grey and blue tones.
