Sculpture L’Esperit Popular

Created in 1928 by Jaume Otero i Camps, this bronze sculpture depicts a female figure of classical inspiration, dressed in a tunic that reveals the chest and abdomen, holding the folds of the fabric with one hand and a laurel wreath with the other. Its decorative style, with noucentista accents and close to Art Deco, reflects the refined idealism and sensuality that critics of the time attributed to Otero.
