Scope

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of all Oxploria services: the website www.oxploria.com and the Oxploria mobile app (iOS and Android).

By accessing the website or downloading the app, you agree to these Terms.

Service description

Oxploria is a free urban cultural discovery app. It allows users to explore historical, architectural and cultural points of interest in available cities (currently Barcelona and La Rochelle) through interactive maps and descriptive sheets.

The website www.oxploria.com presents the service and provides access to legal pages.

The features, content, rewards and cities available in Oxploria may evolve, be modified or removed at any time as part of the service's development.

Access

The app is available free of charge on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).

Creating a user account is mandatory to access the app. Registration requires a first name, date of birth and email address.

Oxploria services are not intended for persons under the age of 15.

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from their account.

Access to the service requires an internet connection. Oxploria is not responsible for lack of connectivity.

Mobile app — permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Location ("While using the app") — to show your position on the map and highlight nearby places. This permission is optional.

• Push notifications — to receive Oxploria updates. This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time.

The app never accesses your location in the background.

Usage rules

You may not use Oxploria for unlawful purposes, attempt to access unauthorised data, or disrupt the service.

Oxploria reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these rules.

Intellectual property

All content on the website www.oxploria.com and in the mobile app (texts, visuals, logo, icons, design, code, place descriptions) is the exclusive property of Oxploria, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction, copy or use without prior permission is strictly prohibited.

Photographs published on the site and in the app that were not taken by Oxploria include a photo credit mentioning the author or source. If you believe a credit is missing or incorrect, contact us at contact@oxploria.com.

Map data is provided by Google Maps; related rights belong to Google LLC.

Third-party services

Certain third-party services used by Oxploria, including Google Maps, the App Store and Google Play, have their own terms of use which may apply to users.

Liability

Oxploria strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information about listed places (opening hours, prices, descriptions, addresses, accessibility). However, this information may be incomplete, inaccurate or no longer current at the time of viewing. Oxploria does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the information presented.

Users are encouraged to verify important information (opening hours, prices, access conditions) directly with the relevant establishments before visiting. Oxploria cannot be held liable for any inconvenience resulting from incorrect or outdated information.

Oxploria shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, or from third-party content the service may link to.

Service availability

Oxploria reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time, including for maintenance or evolution purposes.

Changes to terms

Oxploria may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

In the event of a significant change, users with an account will be notified.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
