Castle of the Three Dragons

The Castell dels Tres Dragons, located in the Ciutadella Park, was designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner as a café-restaurant for the 1888 Universal Exhibition. Over time, it served different purposes before being dedicated to the scientific collections of the zoology and geology museum. Today, the building preserves and studies a rich natural heritage while also housing a specialized library. Its significance lies both in its modernist architecture and in its role as a research center. However, the site is currently closed to the general public, except for scientific consultation of the geological collections.
