The statue by Josep Dunyach (1886-1957), now located in the Parc de la Ciutadella, was originally placed in Plaça Catalunya but was removed in 1928 for being considered immoral due to its nudity. Depicting a nude female figure, the work fully embodies the Noucentista aesthetic, blending classicism, balance, and serenity, with a touch of vitality that breaks away from traditional hieratic rigidity.
