San Sebastian Beach

Located in the Ciutat Vella district, Sant Sebastià Beach is the westernmost beach in Barcelona. With its 660 meters of sand, it is, alongside Barceloneta, one of the city’s oldest and most iconic beaches. It is also home to historic sports clubs linked to nautical activities. Highly popular, it is visited both by locals (nearly 70% of its users are Barcelonians, especially from Ciutat Vella) and by many foreign visitors. The beach is also recognized for its accessibility, with reserved parking spaces, adapted signage, accessible toilets and showers, wooden walkways leading close to the shoreline, and adapted public transport.
