Sculpture Dedicated to Lluís Millet

Installed in front of the 1991 extension of the Palau de la Música, this bronze is dedicated to Lluís Millet i Pagès (el Masnou, 1867-1941), co-founder of the Orfeó Català alongside Amadeu Vives. It was erected on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of his death and shows him engaged in choral conducting. The work is by Jassans, the artistic name of Josep Salvador Jassans (Alforja, 1938-2006).
